Why was my card declined / refused?

Don't worry, we're here to help! If your card payment didn't go through, here are some steps to consider:

1. Give Another Browser a Try:  If you're experiencing issues with one browser, like Chrome, try switching to another, such as Firefox. Sometimes, this simple change can do the trick and allow you to process your order successfully.
2. Why Did It Decline? Unfortunately, we can't pinpoint the exact reason for your card being declined. Card processing is handled externally by Stripe, a dedicated payment gateway. However, here are some common reasons for declined payments:
   1. The details you entered may not match what your card issuer has on record.
   2. Your card issuer might have blocked transactions in USD if you're located outside the US. If this happens, you can contact your card provider and ask them to allow USD transactions to Hypnosis Downloads.
   3. You might not have enough cleared funds on your card to cover the purchase amount.
   4. Your card issuer could be conducting further identity checks or requiring an authorization code.
   5. Your card might be reported as lost or stolen and canceled by your card issuer.
   6. Your card may have expired and been replaced, but not yet activated.
   7. It might not be suitable for online/internet purchases.
   8. If you're using a Discover card, please note that we don't accept them on our website.
3. Contact Your Card Issuer: If none of the above reasons apply and you've tried using a different browser, it's a good idea to get in touch with your card issuer for more information. You can find their phone number on the signature strip on the back of your card.
4. Try PayPal: As an alternative payment method, we also accept PayPal. If you're a PayPal user, you can opt for this method for a seamless checkout experience.
